2015 in Review

2015 was an exciting year for Ensure-A-Seal and certainly a critical period of transition and growth. We began a number of initiatives to update our image, strengthen our customer relationships, expand our industry presence, refine our products and services, invest in new and expanded product lines, and continue to serve as a resource and thought leader. We are deeply proud to have been around for 30 years and thankful for our loyal clients. It has been an honor to see our businesses grow and flourish together.

William Matro, National Sales Director
As announced here on the blog in November, we are so happy to have brought on Bill Matro as our first National Sales Director. Bill previously worked in the automotive aftermarket division of Bosch, a Global 500 Organization. Bill spent nearly 15 years there, and during his tenure was responsible for building and managing a sales team to covering his own distribution territory, and everything in between. Bill will be focusing on our company's overall sales direction, as well as bringing his specialization in working with distributors, growing direct sales, and exploring key partnerships. Keep an eye out for him: the whole Ensure-A-Seal team will next be at the ICCFA Annual Expo in New Orleans.

Organizational Restructuring
With the addition of Bill, we felt it was an appropriate time for us to slightly restructure our organization. Jordan Yearsley, who has been working at the company since 2012, has been named President - this, in part, to reflect his extensive involvement in both the day-to-day operations and the long-term operating priorities and goals. Dave, whom many of you know very well, has been named Founder & CEO - his duties won't change much, and he remains as busy as ever traveling, speaking, consulting, and working on-site with cemeteries - but his new title reiterates his vital role here at Ensure-A-Seal. Marc Yearsley, who has been working with us since the fall of 2014, has been named Product Development & Marketing Manager, and is overseeing new marketing initiatives, which includes our company blog right here. With our new website, we hope to take full advantage of the platform and offer ensureaseal.com as a multi-faceted resource.

New Look
Speaking of our website, chances are you have noticed by now that we have updated our image. We are so pleased with the work done by the excellent advertising agency Dixon Schwabl, based in Victor, NY. They were absolutely great to work with; attentive, knowledgeable, skilled, and professional. It was a long process, but having the opportunity to get a fresh set of eyes on our business really helped us reflect and focus on who we are as an organization - our vision and our values. The website has been a big piece for us, but we've also updated all of our sales literature, product information, and developed a family-oriented brochure that can be used to help explain to families the benefits of casket protection. If you haven't received some of them already, we'll be introducing these materials over the next several months.

2016
Bill is eager to keep hitting the road, meet customers new and old, and keep developing our sales network. Marc is looking forward to honing in our marketing efforts, refining what our customers need and want from us, and to further develop our online resources. Dave is excited to continue his packed schedule of speaking, sales, consulting, correction work, and company leadership. Jordan will continue to guide the ship, both overseeing and contributing to all the Ensure-A-Seal initiatives for the new year. None of this, however, would be possible without our valued and loyal customers.
